The US Special is like a one-off, separate from their usual PPVs. Similar to when WWE had their special in Japan a year or two ago.PimpinSmurf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 29, 2018 9:56 am I know, but still. WWE doesn't even do PPVs that close together.

Re: NJPW Sakura Genesis 2018 Play-Per-View
Yeah just so happened to take place a week before this one. Like I said or referenced in a different thread I missed chances to get PPVs up for the US show, and I wasn't even thinking of Sakura Genesis until they were talking about Okada vs. Sabre on the US show. So I will do my best to get as many shows up as possible.

Can't decide if this is an interesting card or a boring one.

Last 4 matches should be good to great. The rest is just typical filler tag team matches. I may only seek out the main event.

All the six-man tags are kinda weird. That's like their thing, huh?

Re: NJPW Sakura Genesis 2018 Play-Per-View
My understanding is they do all the tag matches to keep the roster healthy since they have to do less work. Plus it keeps the singles matches more rare and less watered down.

Re: NJPW Sakura Genesis 2018 Play-Per-View
Yeah, they have their big matches for the show, and fill the rest with tag matches. They also don't have live events and weekly TV shows the way WWE does, so the guys lower on the card would literally never wrestle if every show they did resembled a WWE TV show or PPV. And like LiQuid said it helps to keep guys healthier too.

Re: NJPW Sakura Genesis 2018 Play-Per-View
MMH (nWo)
We were treated to a 2nd big NJPW show in as many weeks, and Mackinlee tried his best to be the winner of both shows. However nWo's MMH was the one to come out on top this time around. Mack had to settle for 2nd, and pabscm once again came in 3rd place. Others in the top 10 were thereisonlyoneme, Da Mayer, LiQuid, The Man, and GM Bike. This marks MMH's first NJPW PPV win, and his 6th overall to go with 1 WWE, 1 NXT, 1 TNA, and 2 UFC wins. Congrats, MMH!
