Season 34 Official Discussion

Post by Watsuki »

No comments about the new season so far? Well, I'll be the first and this goes in the Bitch column. I picked the wrong damn Hooligan! I took Kendrick and of course London gets the one-on-one victory.

I'm still happy I picked Punk. I didn't want Triple H since so many others already had him. At least when Punk scores points for me he's not scoring for too many others.

I made one last minute change to my stable and I'm still not sure it was smart. I had Big Daddy V, Steven Richards and Jaime Noble and swapped them for Matt Hardy, Brian Kendrick and Mike Knox. Only time will tell I suppose, but so far I'm down 2 points.

I was going back and forth between picking Trips/Rey or picking Punk. In the end, I opted for Punk cuz only like 20 ppl have him. I figure he's the best bet out of the champs to score the most consistently since Cena hasn't been wrestling much lately.

After that, I have Jeff Hardy, Mike Knox, Stevie Richards, Kane, Michelle McCool, and Beth Phoenix. So far, it's not bad as Knox and Richards got wins, while McCool will get 12 or so points on SD. Hardy looks to be a disappointment as he's not even scheduled to fight at Unforgiven, nor is Kane. Both lost this week too. I don't know. Week to week it's not bad, but PPVs are gonna be my downfall unless Jeff and Kane get some matches. I had toyed with going for Cody (or Palumbo) and London/Kendrick instead of Knox, Jeff, and Kane, but I guess I'm glad I didn't. My big problem was the guys I wanted to take got suspended (see Umaga) or aren't looking so good for this season (see Matt Hardy). A Punk win, and a Beth win, at the PPV will help, but Kane and Jeff getting matches/wins would help a great deal.

I prefer Seasons that start at a PPV.

I know Unforgiven isstill in the first weke but it's not the same.

You want to try and get big wins at the PPV then solidify your place. But i have been playing catch up the last Two seasons.

Anyway

Cena - Never scored on Raw but will hopefully win at the PPV
Matt Hardy - Unsure about how smackdown went ... Is he on the PPV card???
Big Daddy V - No PPV appearance and No points on ECW!!
London - Win on Raw and possible title change at PPV
MiZ- Win on ECW and Looks like going to be getting into a steady feud

I always hate taking ECW guys but always end up taking 2!! Weird!!

Although the season is still young, this is one my best performances in a long time. This is also my first stable where every member is a wrestler who can score me points.

Well, if you get really desperate you could always risk two trades and trade Haas, but I'd only do that if you got really desperate and thought you wouldn't survive to the Trade Window.

I'm just pissed I couldn't pick Punk--I named my stable after him--since I kept picking guys over the salary cap.

However, my picks in Triple H, Carlito, Jaime Noble, Brian Major, Candice, and Matt Striker aren't bad. Major hasn't had any TV matches which makes me wish I hadn't picked him but every other stable-member is giving me some sort of points. I dreaded picking Candice but now glad I did. And Trips is on a roll, giving me the most points, and making funnier promos every Monday Night: "Was she magically delicious?" :lmao:

I fucking hate this game, if it wasn't for my obsession to finally win a season I think I'd just jack it in.

Just to be clear, I hate my stable. The first season in awhile I decide NOT to take Matt Hardy and Candice Michelle and they're scoring a bunch, especially Candice. To think, I had Matt Hardy originally but for some odd reason I changed him to Jeff Hardy and I have Beth Phoenix, who doesn't even wrestle, as well. Ah...

My ECW contingent better get me some points tonight...

I like the chances of my stable later on.

I call it the "PS3 rule". Some of the selections suck now but it's sold on the potential in the future.

Orton - Could win the WWE Title at the next PPV.

Matt Hardy - Could win the US Title from MVP or at least defend the Tag Titles a bunch.

Paul London - Plenty of Tag Title shots and hopefully they get the belts soon.

The Miz - The basis for my team name. He gets points. Simple as that.

Steven Richards - Minor push and he gets points.

Beth Pheonix - Could win the Women's Title next PPV.

Vince McMahon - Could have some match interference points once in a while.

I'm pleased with three guys: Punk (21), Jeff (14) and Matt (14). Not too happy about Kendrick (4) and Beth (2) at the moment. At least Kendrick is getting a main event Heat win this week. Beth will still be worth it if she wins the title by the trade window. I also have Knox (5) who is already doing fine for his cheap salary. In hindsight picking London and Candice/McCool instead of Kendrick and Beth would have paid off a bit better for me as of right now.
