Exclusive WWE.com match

Post by KingSmurf »

Will this be scored? It's the Highlanders vs. Hooligans vs. Cody & Holly and the winner faces Cade & Murdoch for the titles at Survivor Series.

If it wasn't on RAW, ECW, Smackdown, or Heat I don't see why it would be scored.

SNME was scored and so was the Eddie special that had two matches. Think it was a Wednesday night. Orton killed Taker with the Lowrider.

Just asking though. I'd favor not scoring since one match doesn't constitute a show and usually we score shows, not matches. Just pointing out that the match was taking place so a ruling could be made if there needed to be one. I'm sure someone would have asked once it happened.

I think all NEW matches posted on WWE.com should count. As long as it's not part of WWE 24/7 online, why not? We score Heat afterall.

Well I'm sure the Scorekeepers will discuss it, I just don't see it as being scored since it won't be on TV, and it's only one match.

The only real argument for scoring it is the fact that it helps setup a match at the PPV. It's not just some random match that means nothing.

I agree with Mike though on the points that since it's not on TV, nor is it an actual show, it probably won't be scored. An extra match might constitute scoring it as a webshow, but not a single match.

Since this has happened a couple times (like Umaga vs. Triple H recently), we should set up a "WWE.com Exclusive" scoresheet for such situations.

2 pts for a win
1 pt for a draw
1 pt for a finisher.

Thus, it's the most valueless match type possible.

What Umaga/H match are you talking about? This is the first non-HeAt match that I've ever heard of being on WWE.com.

Unless you mean DH/Carlito.

They showed an Umaga/Triple H main event a few weeks back... the 'dark match main event' as a way to show people what happens when you watch Raw live.

And of course, Smith vs. Carlito.

good ? i dont think it should be scored tho. its only 1 match and it would be hard to choose values and things and its too much work for 1 match

This could turn out to be a match that was taped for HeAt. In which case it will be scored either way.

I'm pretty sure that it's a Heat match... That's the only place that I've seen The Highlanders as of late.

There was a Palumbo/Dykstra match on WWE.com last month, it wasn't scored and virtualy went unnoticed.
