WWE Stablewars Season 36 Update - Week 4

Franchise holds onto his lead at the top of the standings after four weeks of WWE Stablewars Season 36 as the chasing pack starts to spread out a little. Two-time champion Franchise is on 150 points, giving him a six point lead over non-member ***Fox54*** on 144 points, while Ronin holds on to third place with 143 points. Everyone has made their trades and it is now time to settle in and watch how thing unfold on the road to Wrestlemania.

Franchise's stable was led by some of the seasons highest scorers in CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Festus, Kofi Kingston, Steven Richards and Paul Burchill, and he has traded Punk, Jericho and Burchill out for Undertaker, Kane and Umaga. In second place, ***Fox54*** goes into the second half of the season with a stable based around CM Punk, Kane, Finlay, Kofi Kingston and Steven Richards, while Ronin will be looking for CM Punk, Paul Burchill, Ric Flair, Festus, Steven Richards and Candice to see him home. Naturally Aivaz (fourth, 139 points) moves into the top five with a stable that has been well served by CM Punk, Kane, Finlay, Kofi Kingston and Stevie Richards. In what could prove to be an astute move, he traded out Punk and Finlay for Undertaker and Jericho, as well as picking up Beth Phoenix, and could see himself headed even further up the standings. Last week's co-leader Moody is in fifth place, also on 139 points, and now has John Cena and Maria in his line up (along with Jericho, Finlay, Kingston and Richards).

Other forum regulars who are in the top ten include johncenafan (6th, 135 points), Season 16 winner Banzai (7th, 135 points) and two-time champion Watsuki (10th, 131 points), while Football Mike, DudeyDan, Matt Sin, the BAM, Texas Kelly and MyEvilTim are all within 30 points of the leader. 3pointtally is the worst performed regular, sitting in 174th place with just 60 points. Non-member Team eMo remains in last place with 33 points.

The Mega Powers are the new leaders in the faction standings, improving their average ranking from 36th to 23rd. Right To Censor remained consistent in second place with an average rank of 31st, while last weeks leaders The Outsiders drop back to third with an average rank of 36th. The Movement is still the worst performed faction, with an average ranking of 113th. Things are also looking bad for The Movement in Survival Of The Fittest, despite their representative Charlie having a good week by climbing 9 places in the overall standings, because DX's representative Iamnobody improved a massive 31 places to push him a total of 57 places in front of Charlie. However this isn't the worst news for The Movement as Iamnobody is set to be eliminated in TV Wars, wiping out DX completely and leaving Charlie a huge 80 places behind Team Canada's Danaconda, and staring down the elimination barrel.

Ronin's stable picked up another three wins in Week 4 to maintain his lead in the "wins" column and take his total for the season to 21 so far. However he also suffered his first loss of the season, leaving non-members sidny18 and skunk cake as the only "undefeated" stables. The New Wolf-Pac is having a disappointing season, having both the least wins (3, along with Team eMo) and the most losses (13, along with johns amish). Watsuki was the highest scorer in Week 4 picking up 38 points, while rosemans stable (remember him?) was the lowest scorer with just one point. Non-member Superiority made the biggest improvement in the standings from Week 3 to Week 4, climbing 46 places to 65th, while The Biznich gained 41 places and Watsuki picked up 37 places to push him into the top ten. Rosemans stable made the biggest drop, falling 47 spots to 92nd, while The Federation (down 30 places) and pitcher perfection (down 29 places) were the two forum members to suffer big falls.

Chavo Guerrero was Week 4's highest scoring wrestler, succesfully defending his ECW title on the way to picking up 15 points. The Undertakers loss on Smackdown led to him being overtaken by both CM Punk and John Cena as the seasons leading scorer. Punk now has 42 points, from Cena on 41 and 'Taker on 37, while other main-eventers Chavo Guerrero and Triple H have also scored more than 30 points. Kane now leads the mid-carders, winning on both ECW and Smackdown to take his total to 31 points, ahead of Jesse and Festus, who have four wins and 26 points apiece. Kelly Kelly is still the leading diva/semi-active scorer with 12 points. Kane's two wins pushes him up to five for the season, equal with Punk and Cena, while MVP broke his four match losing streak with a count out win over Batista, and John Morrison and The Miz lost their fourth match of the season to join MVP as the "losingest".

Big points have already been scored to start out Week 5, and with trades taking effect things will begin to swap and change at the top of the standings. Franchise has the inside running at the moment but by no means should he feel comfortable as there are many quality players snapping at his heels. The countdown to Wrestlemania is well and truly on and Stablewars Season 36 looks like it could be one to remember.
