Stupid Burchill. I meant to keep Kofi but somehow I traded him instead. Kofi probably scores some decent points in the battle royal too. Maybe even makes the final 4, where Burchill will be not appearing anywhere most likely. And Candice got hurt 5 minutes after coming back. That was a bad trade too. To think I almost made room to trade for Kane, but thought it's not like he's going to do anything big at Mania right? Maybe I'll get really lucky and Punk wins MITB and cashes in right away. Sigh, I have to root for mega Punk wins.

Well, I'm out for this season, considering I could only really get 18 points realistically (finsher wins for Umaga and Beth) but I should have an inside shot at taking a strong 2nd or 3rd... this is exciting.

You're forgetting the ability of the battle royal to be an important wild card factor. Unless the 24 man tag match tonight on ECW is the official list of guys in the match, I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see somebody from a previous match show up for that. Honestly, if Umaga or Chavo were a face I'd even pick him as the favorite to do that. I could totally see maybe as a late entry. All but 1 guy is in the match, Umaga comes out halfway through and goes all Diesel on it. Inside of 2 minutes he tosses every guy out and then destroys Chavo. 10 for the battle royal, 5 for the final 4, 2 per elimination, 9 for the chavo match, 10 for the title win, 5 for double duty, and then whatever points from the match against Batista (either 4 or 9 most likely). That could add up to over 50 points. The WWE does like the surprise extra match dominance scenario. Bret got injured at the Rumble in 94 in the tag match yet came back to win the rumble later on. He also lost to Owen at Mania but came back to win later the same night. And notice how they've been pushing Umaga pretty hard lately?

I'm not saying it will happen, but I'd say it's 50/50 that whoever wins the battle royal will be somebody from a previous match just because Kane is the only guy that makes any sense at all and there's a handful of guys on the rest of the card that could easily work just as well, if not better.
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

WWE Stablewars Season 36 - Final Week Analysis (post-RAW)

After Raw, Franchise's lead drops from seven points down to five points, but it is non-member No Brand Heroes, who moved up from ninth, rather than former second placer Wrestling Fanatics that made up the difference. Obviously the Raw heavy rosters made the biggest gains, but there were several big changes in the top ten stables after Raw, including unknowns Xtremist, kfed4life and WWE Horsemen moving up and Naturally Aivaz, The Dictators and Watsuki dropping out. Here's how things stand with ECW, Smackdown, Heat and Wrestlemania 24 remaining to be aired/scored :

Franchise currently sits in first place with 230 points, his stable consisting of Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Steven Richards, Kofi Kingston, Lillian Garcia and Umage. No Brand Heroes is in second with 225 points and virtually a completely different stable. He needs CM Punk, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Tommy Dreamer, Maria, and Melina to outscore Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Kofi Kingston, Umaga and Lillian Garcia by just six points. For No Brand Heroes, CM Punk will likely wrestle on at least ECW and maybe Smackdown, and along with Chris Jericho (who is set to wrestle MVP on Smackdown) is in the Money In The Bank match at Wrestlemania, Ric Flair takes on Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania while Maria and Melina are on opposite sides of a Wrestlemania tag match. Finally, Tommy Dreamer is likely to wrestle on ECW and be involved in the ECW battle royal at Wrestlemania. For Franchise, Undertaker may wrestle on Smackdown and is a good chance to win the World title at Wrestlemania, Kane is likely to wrestle in ECW and Smackdown and is heavily favoured in the ECW battle royal, Kofi Kingston will also likely take part in the batte royal, with Festus also being a chance to participate, while Umaga take on Batista at Wrestlemania. Undertaker seems likely to be the difference here, as a World Championship win at Wrestlemania will score him 20+ points which could be too much for No Brand Heroes to make up, but there is way too much difference in these stables to say for sure at this stage.

In third place, Wrestling Fanatics needs Chris Jericho, Josh Matthews and Candice to outscore Kane, Steven Richards and Lillian Garcia by seven points. Matthews, Candice and Lillian are non-factors, which leaves Jericho (who will wrestle on Smackdown and in MITB) versus Kane and Richards (ECW/Smackdown appearances and ECW Battle Royal). Having two against one will definitely help Franchise, and if either Kane or Richards win the battle royal they'll score fairly well with eliminations and double duty by moving onto the ECW title match. Jericho winning the MITB match will score him 9 points plus whatever finishers he scores, but all things being equal Franchise should have a slight edge in this contest.

Xtremist is in fourth, and he needs John Cena, Carlito, Melina and Candice to outscore, Undertaker, Kane, Festus and Lillian by eight points. These two are fairly evenly matched but I'd say Franchise has the edge in that Undertaker and Kane have ECW/Smackdown to air yet, and both would be more favoured to win their WM24 matches than John Cena and Carlito.

In fifth, Moody face an eleven point deficit, with John Cena, Finlay, Chris Jericho, and Maria up agains Undertaker, Kane, Festus and Umaga. Moody is in a better position than Xtremist, given Jericho will score better than Carlito and Maria and Finaly are good chances to win at Wrestlemania, while Franchise will once again rely on Undertaker and Kane for the bulk of his points, with Umaga only being an even money chance at best to get over Batista. I'd personally rate Moody as a better chance to win than both Wrestling Fanatics and Extremist, but Franchise is obviously still in prime position.

Thorias and kfed4life are in sixth and seventh, both on 216 points, 14 off the pace. Both have five different wrestlers to Franchise and will be mainly relying on Jericho, Cena and Flair to make up the difference over 'Taker, Kane and Umaga. However even if these two do somehow get past Franchise, they still have to contend with Moody and Xtremist above them who both have John Cena as well.

Speaking of John Cena, johncenafan is in eighth and his equation is much simpler - he needs Triple H and Jesse to outscore Undertaker and Kane by eighteen points. If Triple H wins the WWE title and Undertaker doesn't win the World title then he's certainly in with a chance, but a 'Taker victory would leave him out of luck. Similarly, Ronin, in ninth with 212 points, and WWE Horseman, tenth with 210 points, both have to make up approximately a 20 point difference against The Undertaker, with CM Punk and Triple H as their respective main-eventers.

Franchise seems to be a key position over the rest of the top ten, as his stable mostly differs in that he has The Undertaker and Kane. Taker could score 20+ points if wins the World title, and whoever wins the ECW Battle Royal (Kane?) will be picking up 20+ points as well. However all of the top twenty are with 30 points of the lead, and anyone with a little bit of luck and the right stable combination could make that difference up over four shows. Stayed tuned for the next update after ECW is scored, and until then, good luck to all!

At a glance :

1 - Franchise (230 points) - Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Kofi Kingston, Lillian Garcia, Umaga
2 - No Brand Heroes (225 points) - CM Punk, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Tommy Dreamer, Maria, Melina

WWE Stablewars Season 36 - Final Week Analysis (post-ECW)

After ECW, No Brand Heroes has reduced Franchise's lead from 5 points to just 2 and there are further changes in the top ten as things continue to stay interesting in the race for WWE Stablewars Season 36. With Smackdown, Heat, The ECW Battle Royal and Wrestlemania left to be scored, here's how things stand :

No Brand Heroes needs CM Punk, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Tommy Dreamer, Maria and Melina to make up just three points on Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Kofi Kingston, Lillian Garcia and Umaga. They should remain fairly even after Smackdown, and an Undertaker title victory at Wrestlemania and a win for Kane in the ECW Battle Royal will keep Franchise safe, while No Brand Heroes has both Punk and Jericho, as well as Maria and Melina in the same matches at Wrestlemania, which will limit his scoring. Tommy Dreamer is a chance in the ECW Battle Royal for him and Ric Flair might just get up over Shawn Michaels, so this contest could certainly go either way.

Third, fourth and fifth place are all on 226 points, ten points behind Franchise. Xtremist needs John Cena, Carlito, Melina and Candice to outscore Undertaker, Kane, Festus and Lillian Garcia by eleven, which could happen if John Cena wins the WWE title and Undertaker doesn't win the World title. Wrestling Fanatics needs Chris Jericho, Josh Matthews and Candice to outscore Kane, Steven Richards and Lillian Garcia by eleven, which is also a possibility if Jericho wins the Money In The Bank ladder match and Kane doesn't win the ECW Battle Royal. kfed4life has more options, needing John Cena, Ric Flair, Carlito, Tommy Dreamer, Colin Delaney and Maria to make up eleven points on Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Lillian Garica, Umaga and Kofi Kingston. Again, Cena winning the WWE title and 'Taker not taking home the World title will fill the gap right there, while a Flair victory for kfed4life or an Umaga victory for Franchise could be the difference maker. Also, the performances of Kane, Festus, Kingston and Carlito and Maria in their Wreslemania matches will play a key role, which makes this one too close to call at this stage.

Moody, The Dictators and WWE ALLSTARS are on 221 points, 16 behind Franchise, with Moody needing John Cena, Finlay, Chris Jericho, Mike Adamle and Maria to make up the difference on Undertaker, Kane, Festus, Lillian Garcia and Umaga, while The Dictators needs The Miz, Domino and Michelle McCool to outscore Kane, Lillian Garcia and Umaga by 17 points. It is unlikely that The Dictators will catch up, but Moody is in with a chance if things go his way at Wrestlemania (although several people above him have similar rosters that include Jericho and Cena that he would have to catch as well). WWE ALLSTARS needs to make up the difference with Cena, Matt Stiker, Chuck Palumbo and Vince McMahon over 'Taker, Kane, Lillian and Umaga, and again, unless Cena wins and 'Taker doesn't he probably doesn't have the stable to do it.

Thorias, on 218 points (18 behind) is another relying mainly on John Cena, as he needs Cena, Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon, Vicki Guerrero and Ric Flair to make up the difference on 'Taker, Kane, Festus and Umaga. Jericho and Kane will just about even out, Umaga's match and Flair's match could go either way, and then there's Cena's result against Undertaker's result, so with a little luck Thorias is in with a chance. Rounding out the Top Ten is johncenafan, who is the only one to have Triple H on his stable, and if he wins the WWE title it will give him a significant boost over all of the John Cena stables. However Franchise, as well as a few others, still have Undertaker's match to fall back on, so jcf will need a lot of luck to pick up the victory here.

Franchise holds onto his lead, but the chasers are right on his tail and he has a few different combinations of stable to contend with. An Undertaker World title victory will pretty much seal the deal for Franchise, but if he loses or wins by DQ (and thus doesn't take the title) the game opens up for one of the contenders to take. Stay tuned for a further update once Smackdown scores are in.

At a glance :

2 - No Brand Heroes (234 points) - CM Punk, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Tommy Dreamer, Maria, Melina

3 - Xtremist (226 points) - John Cena, Carlito, Melina, Candice

4 - Wrestling Fanatics (226 points) - Chris Jericho, Josh Matthews, Candice

Well in that case you'll have to stop trying to get people to come to stablewars then. The only way you'll win is if we get back down to just 18 participants. Even then it might take you 3-4 seasons.

I always pick the absolute best picks at the worst times. I picked Lash when he lost the ECW Title and was injured. I picked Benoit when he killed himself. I picked Jeff Hardy and he gets suspended. I think I even picked Taker when he got hurt and had MITB cashed in on him.

My production really dropped off the second half of the season. I went from 13 wins in the first half to a meager 6 wins in the second half. That may improve some, but unless Dreamer wins the ECW Title, Melina wins her match and either Jericho or Shelton win MITB I don't have much to salvage.

The one good thing is that my only two trades ended up being my highest scorers so that wasn't my problem. The guys I kept just dropped in production in the second half. Hornswoggle being inactive early in the season and then Jeff getting suspended in the second half really crippled my team all season. Both looked like promising scorers coming into the season.

I've had a bit of a dud season, but at least i'll survive in SOTF.

Oh, and everyone raving about the battle royal... its being shown on wwe.com, right? That means it isn't on any official show... so won't be scored. I think...
