WWE Stablewars Season 37 Update - Week 3

Travaughn Will Beat All You Losers has managed to hold onto his lead after Week 3 of WWE Stablewars Season 37, but he is definitely in danger of being chased down as the field begins to close in just a little. Travaughn is currently on 174 points but just a point behind is The Biznich, who scored 36 points in Week 3 to push him up to 173 points. These two have a handy 18/19 point lead over the rest of the pack but each week they are getting closer as the point scoring spreads out a little more amongst the wrestlers.

Travaughn scored 25 points in Week 3, with most of his big scorers in Week 2 not having nearly as much of an effect this time round. Matt Hardy helped keep him afloat by defending the US Title, but Womens' Champion Mickie James suffered a loss, Undertaker didn't wrestle and King Of The Ring William Regal only managed interference points. The Biznich had similar issues, but was at least able to pick up solid wins from Kofi Kingston, Natayla Neidhart and Vladimir Khozlov to help him make up the difference. Non-member cheeco22 dropped from second to fourth during Week 3, overtaken by PK, who's stable scored 29 points for the week, while Texas Kelly has worked his way into the top five and is currently the highest placed stable that didn't have the benefit of William Regal's KOTR win. However he is still 29 points off the lead and as with PK and cheeco22 will need to remain a consistent scorer to bridge that gap over the rest of the season. Regular player Get The Stables! is the other forum member in the top ten, while tommyllama, PimpinSmurf, Watsuki and Scott Savage are notable names in top twenty, with Matt Sin sitting in 21st and Season 35 winner TEAM D/XTREME 22nd. At the other end of the standings former Team Canada member stinger and former UWO member edge#1fan are the lowest placed, with 41 points and 37 points respectively.

Non-member D-Man's Finest (8th place) was Week 3's highest scorer, taking home 42 points, while hbk24 failed to pick up a point in Week 4. The Biznich's stable has scored the most wins so far this season, with 16, and two non-members have the least wins, with just 3 each. kfed4life has suffered the most losses, 12, with hbk24's low scoring stable recording just one loss so far this season, the lowest.
Non-member rvd331 suffered the biggest drop in the standings during Week 3, falling 68 places from 58th to 126th. lfpnrg made the biggest improvement, gaining 56 places to rise from 140th to 84th, while fellow Mega Power Killer Karpediem rose 55 places from 108th to 53rd.

Thanks to Killer Karpediem and lfpnrg's big improvement, all of the members of The Mega Powers are now in the top 100, leading to The Mega Powers taking over from Right To Censor as the leading faction after Week 3. The Mega Powers now have an average ranking of 39th, ahead of Right To Censor and The Five Horsemen, both with an average ranking of 58th. Western Union is still the worst performed faction, with an average ranking of 100th. In Survival Of The Fittest, Short Bus Squad's johncenafan remains a long way behind as the lowest ranked representative, sitting in 156th, a good 80 places lower than Team Discovery Channel's westryde9 in 76th.

Matt Hardy was the leading scoring wrestler in Week 3, with his defense of his United States title on Smackdown scoring him 11 points. William Regal is still the leading scorer for the season with 50 points, just ahead of main-eventers Undertaker (43 points) and CM Punk (40 points), while other main-eventers Triple H, Kane and Randy Orton all have at least 30 points as well. Hardy's 30 points make him the leading mid-carder, ahead of Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho on 25 points. Natalya Neidhart leads the diva/semi-active wrestlers with 20 points, from Victoria and Mickie James (both on 18 points). CM Punk has so far scored the most wins for the season with four, while Montel Vontavious Porter, Colin Delaney, Shelton Benjamin and Cherry have suffered the most losses with 3 apiece.

After three weeks of WWE Stablewars Season 37 the field is starting to condense just a little as everyone tries to catch up to the leading group and overcome the disadvantage caused by the King Of The Ring Tournament. As the card for the Judgement Day Pay Per View takes shape things will continue to tighten up and there are plenty of people who would still consider themselves in with a good chance. For now however, Travaughn Will Beat All You Losers is in pole position, but he will most certainly still be looking over his shoulder. More next week.
