WWE Stablewars Season 37 Update - Week 4

At the halfway stage of WWE Stablewars Season 37 we have a new leader as The Biznich has managed to overtake Travaughn Will Beat All You Losers and take first place in the standings. Tavaughn had a disappointing week, scoring just 25 points and dropping back to fourth place, easily passed by The Biznich who now sits on 237 points and has a handy lead over second placed PK on 205 points. Texas Kelly has moved into third, equal with Travaughn on 199 points.

The Biznich scored 64 points in Week 4 and was the fourth highest scorer which helped him gain a substantial lead. Kane was his leading scorer, picking up 26 points, while Kofi Kingston helped out with wins on Raw and ECW, Natalya Neidhart and Vladimir Khozlov continued on their winning ways and Matt Hardy had double duty on Smackdown for a win and a loss. Texas Kelly's stable added 54 points in Week 4 while PK managed to score 50 points to push both of them up the standings, with Travaughn's 25 points paling in comparisson and causing his drop to fourth. With the scoring starting to spead out a little more and other wrestlers nullifying the effect of William Regal's King Of The Ring win, plenty of forum regulars have made steady increases in the standings. Former winners PimpinSmurf and Watsuki find themselves in the top ten, with 186 points each, while Cochis is ninth and Matt Sin sits in elevent place. The ever consistent Moody, the ever improving The Legend Killer OWNS and newcomer KevIncredible, along with veteran tommyllama and former champs Football Mike and SeeDub help make up the top twenty, while Fuggly Bastard and lfpnrg are just outside it in 21st and 23rd respectively. Last season's winner Franchise is 42nd with 145 points, and at the other end of the standings The Lawnmower (157th) and Mrs KoolMoeDee (169th) are the worst performed regulars, with edge#1FAN still the lowest placed with 51 points.

After making the biggest movement last week by gaining 56 places, lfpnrg topped that by improving a further 61 places in Week 4 to rise from 84th to 23rd. However non-member The Taboo Collection made the biggest gain of the week, rising 68 places to finish Week 4 in 57th postion. The biggest drop in standings during Week 4 was a massive 81 places by non-member Troll Wrestling, who fell from 51st to 132nd. lfpnrg was Week 4's highest scorer, picking up 72 points, while non-member EAW,Outcast failed to get on the board. The Biznich continutes to have the most wins from his stable, scoring 8 more in Week 4 to take his total to 24, but at the other end of the spectrum Unoffical_EdgeHead (edge#1FAN) and Moses The Monkey (non-member) have only picked up 4 wins apiece. Another non-member in Gimme A Hell Yeah!!! was scored the most losses with 15, while 5 stables have only suffered 3 losses - Get The Stables!, CWA4life, Reverend Doom, hbk24 and AbouIlReej (non-member).

The Mega Powers are still leading the faction standings after Week 4, improving their average ranking to 31st. However The Natural Born Thrillaz have now claimed second place with an average ranking of 38th, while Team Discovery Channel has moved up into third position with an average ranking of 53rd. Western Union continues to go backwards though, remaining in last postion with their average ranking now 108th. A few eliminations see some changes in Survival Of The Fittest, with Cochis replacing PimpinSmurf as the representative for Team Canada and The Short Bus Squad being wholly eliminated. This leaves a new player in danger of being eliminated, with The Five Horsemens Ronin currently the lowest placed representative in 108th position, although he is only 10 points behind Team Discovery Channel's westryde9 in 79th.

Kane was the leading scoring wrestler in Week 4, winning in the main event of both Raw and ECW before picking up a win and a loss on Smackdown as well, scoring him 26 points. This brings Kane to a total of 59 points for the season, just behind points leader CM Punk on 62. William Regal is still the leading mid-carder, with 50 points, despite only scoring 2 points since his King Of The Ring victory in Week 2. Matt Hardy and Chavo Guerrero are both on 40 points and are slowly closing in on Regal. Natalya Neidhart keeps on winning and thus leads the diva/semi-active wrestlers with 27 points, from Mickie James on 26 points. CM Punk won two more matches in Week4 to take his total for the season to 6, the most of any wrestler, while Montel Vontavious Porter, Tommy Dreamer and John Morrison have suffered the most losses with 4 apiece.

The field continues to close in after four weeks of WWE Stablewars Season 37 as lots of stables start to catch up and overtake the early leaders. The Biznich however continues his great season and holds onto a 32 point lead at the top of the standings and at this stage it seems to be his season to lose. With the season now half over trades have taken effect and everyone will be hoping that they have the right combinations to run him down. We'll begin to see how the trades worked out after Sunday's Judgement Day Pay Per View, and with plenty of scoring opportunities in the lead up to the season ending One Night Stand, it's sure to be an interesting finish. Stay tuned.

Good work Mega Powers!

I'm happy with 8th at the trade window, especially since I did not benefit much at all from KOTR. No Regal, no Punk. After my trades I now have pretty much 7 active wrestlers. I ended up trading for Regal. I know he's already scored most of him points, but I had 0.50 to use and he seemed like the only decent choice. I probably don't have a stable that can take me to the top, but I should have another shot at a top 10 finish.
