Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
Well you do seem to be in the minority as far as people who thought they would score well. Look at the picks:
Young - 1
Tarver - 2
Sheffield - 4
Slater - 7
Gabriel - 15
That's 29 "low priced" Nexus guys out of 228 stables. Daniel Bryan got picked 5 times but isn't scoring. And Barrett was 0.85 so I wouldn't really consider him underpriced.
Hindsight is 20/20. I'm sure you can go back to just about any season and find somebody underpriced to bitch and moan about. It's the nature of the game, we're not perfect. If you're that enthusiastic about the salary pricing let me know and I'll include you in the discussion next season. I actually had them priced at 0.65 and the NXT 2 guys at 0.60 initially, but after discussion with the other scorekeepers we switched them since the Nexus were still only scoring interference points at the time.

Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
I wasn't trying to win this season though. I picked all guys everyone hated so they would get hurt. It's worked so far as Truth is injured and Mysterio is probably taking time off soon. While else would I picked Tarver of all people from the Nexus guys. I could have done seven guys better than that. I also picked Hornswoggle. I clearly wasn't trying to win. Still, the Nexus underscoring will haunt SW. Somehow someway and you sir will have to live with that. YOU!

Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
I suppose it's not a big deal, but shouldn't Miz get 1 point for the tag match he was in on NXT?(and is there anything for double duty? I really don't know.)
Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
There are no Show Appearance points for the B-Shows (NXT and Superstars). The breakdown is 2 pts for PPVs, 1 pt for Raw/SD, 0 pts for NXT/Superstars. Double Duty points are not applicable to Battle Royals. And Main Event bonus is not applicable when the main event has 10 or more participants.

Yes, it should have been July 19 - July 26. That keeps it at a 4 / 3 week split. Main page has been updated.DudeyDan wrote:I guess this should be July 19 - July 26?Watsuki wrote:Season Details

Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
Saying you're not trying to win is like Ryan Leaf saying he isn't a starter in the NFL because he just got tired of playing. Easy excuse to make now, but nobody's buying it. I kid. But also, you should know there is no such thing as unburnable.PimpinSmurf wrote:You can't burn me if I'm not trying to win. That makes me unburnable.
Everyone at stablewars: You think we can't mock you? Hello, have you met us?
If you really want to prove it, then how about next time for TNA stablewars, you make the opposite roster of mine. We look at the card for the first PPV, I pick the guys I think will win, you pick all their opponents. Then you "curse" the guys facing my roster. Deal?
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Re: WWE Stablewars Season 48
Deal!!!
Just remind me of this when the new season starts.
The only real pick I made for this season was for Kaval. I figured he was a can't miss. The rest I could care less about. NOT HATE. Just so Lawnmower doesn't try to misquote this in six months.
