Season 54 Winner
The Lawnmower (The Threat)
The season ending at Survivor Series is historically the longest one of the year, and this year's ran 13 weeks. When the dust settled it was The Lawnmower who stood on top, claiming his first Stablewars victory. His previous best performance was a 10th place finish in season 27, ironically the first season he played. At the trade window Lawnmower was in 3rd place, just 8 points behind RegretxNothing and last season's winner child's play. He opted to use just one trade, dropping Jinder Mahal in favour of Mason Ryan, but really it was his core of Orton, Sheamus, Kingston and Beth who lead his stable to the top. He had the highest scoring main eventer, diva and top 2 midcarders en route to a rather large 34 point win. Mower gets to pick a DVD for the win.
RegretxNothing finished in 2nd place, beating his previous best of 5th in season 51. Pat loves wrestling, who always has some unusual stable names tied his season 46 finish with 3rd place. child's play, who as mentioned above won last season, had another strong season and ended up in 4th. Other notables in the top 10 were Nick Clohessy in 9th and trip15 in 10th.
Looks for Season 55 to start up in a couple of weeks!

Re: Season 54 Winner
Hmm, looking at the choices it's down to the Hogan anthology or Rise and Fall. I've seen Rise and Fall before, but it's my favourite wrestling documentary and I don't actually own it. On the other hand I've never seen a lot of what's on the Hogan DVD and that's just a shitload of matches. Someone help me decide.

Rise and Fall (of WCW I assume) is good. For me, anything from the WCW/WWF war era that is documentary format is good by me... Monday Night Wars, Eric Bischoff's book, all of it.

The WCW one sucked. It was basically a re-edit of the Monday Night Wars DVD (used a lot of the same interviews).

Re: Season 54 Winner
I had the ECW one on my PC at one point in time, but it was a terrible quality video file, so I never got around to it. I could actually learn a lot that I don't know from what is still kinda in my favorite time frame.
Re: Season 54 Winner
ECW Rise and Fall is my favorite. Definitely get that. I have two...so you could easily just get my copy. So maybe you should pick the Hogan DVD. Hmmmm

Re: Season 54 Winner
Fuck, I seriously can't decide between Hogan and ECW. Hey Suki how about you just send me both? You know I deserve it.

Re: Season 54 Winner
I'm tempted to steer you towards the Hogan set. I can't seem to find the ECW DVD amongst the prize pile and I have 3 copies of the Hogan one. But don't worry, if you do decide on ECW I'll order one and ship it to you.
