Stables and Tie Breakers
I apologize if this information is readily available and/or has been asked multiple times (still new to the actual forums):
1) How do my buddies and I form a stable?
2) How are tie breakers determined when two stables have the same amount of points?

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
You can't right now. We're in between seasons. Check back after WM.
It's highly unlikely, but there are no tie-breakers. If tied for first, everyone tied wins. It doesn't happen a lot.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
There is no in between on seasons. And stables can be made at any time. Contact Franchise via PM about creating your faction.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
Stables can't be made at any time so not sure what you mean by that. Stables can only be made during reg. We're not in-between either. We're in the middle of a season.
As for factions, generally you have to have some actual time put in here before we go around creating factions. I don't think there's a pre-requisite spelled out per say but I'm gonna say being here at least a year or so of being active is the minimum we'll allow. It's partly because if we did it whenever someone showed up, we'd have a ton of inactive factions. Show the commitment first and that you and your mates are active and then we can do that for you.
Alternatively, talk to lfpnrg if you wanna join his faction for newbies.

I need to sleep. I was thinking he meant factions. I didn't even know what forum this was posted in.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
I don't think so. We've had wins tie before so it wouldn't have mattered but looking back historically wins has never been a tiebreaker. The object of the game is to score points so any ties in SW will result in multiple champions.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
Last time we had a tie we went to the number of wins, but they also tied on wins too.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
Not sure why that would have been since I know this came up when Suki and Alcatraz tied in WWE SW. And there's a whole thread MVH found about this where people complained about using wins and Suki said it wouldn't be the tie-breaker. I'm pretty sure we discussed this again recently when either ROH or TNA looked like it could tie or maybe when TNA did tie that you're referencing with wins being tied and we agreed wins shouldn't be a tiebreaker because it's so fluky. There's never been a season decided using wins as a tiebreaker and we shouldn't start now.
Either way, the object is to score the most points so it has to be a tie if two people score the same amount of points. We're not talking about a one week game or couple week game where you definitely need a tiebreaker. We're talking about seasons lasting two to three months and to use an arbitrary stat like wins or won loss record when scoring points is the goal seems insane. I'm pretty sure we litigated this recently in the Scorekeepers forum.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
Then why do we keep track of the W-L records if they don't do anything? I always assumed that was a tiebreaker because when people have the same amount of points the standings list prioritizes the person with more wins.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
We've always kept track of win/loss records. But again look at I think Season 14 of WWE SW. Suki scored it as a tie. And when it was brought up at the time or maybe sometime later to use win/loss record as a tiebreaker, almost everyone complained and it was decided it wouldn't be used. We literally just had a whole big thing in the Scorekeepers on this in the last year and the final agreement was ties are ties for SW.
Also, look at the rules. There's nowhere listed that says win/loss is a tiebreaker. At least none I can find. I wish MVH was here or LFP was a scorekeeper cuz he's great at finding stuff tho I think the discussion from that thread with Suki was in this subforum if I recall correctly.

Re: Stables and Tie Breakers
That's fine if that's the way it always was. I just had that assumption tho. Which still, then why do we bother keeping W-L for no reason?
