Play Per View marathon chance coming up
Late last year, we had a special event here called Play Per View marathon to capitalize on the rare event of multiple pay per views between TNA and WWE being schedueled at the same time.
We have a chance now for a similar event.
One Night Stand (June 3rd)
WWE Raw Night of Champions (June 11)
Slammiversary (June 17)
Vengeance (June 24)
Pretty cool situation. If you guys can get it going, I'll throw in a Bonus Pick in the 2008 Rumble Draft to the winner of the event.

Another cool aspect of this is that for the first time in Play Per View history, there will be a Raw Play Per View that's official, part of Stablewars cannon. When they list the Play Per View champs of 2007, you will be sandwiched between the One Night Stand champ and the Vengeance champ. That's so awesome.
With nine title matches, it's completely dooable.

Appearntly they are going to build up the matches on the Raw following One Night Stand, then on Smackdown.Hillbilly Nick wrote:But we aren't sure they'll announce all the matches on Raw.
By Friday we should know all the matches. Hell, by Tuesday when they tape Smackdown we'll know all the matches and we can start the game with a 'spoiler' tag.

As I said to Charlie in my response to his PM, I'm down for running a second Play-Per-View marathon.
However, for your consideration: I'd like to include ROH's PPV taping from Chicago on June 23rd (the night before Vengeance). I think it would add an interesting dynamic. The Marathon will happen whether it includes ROH or not... just would like to get everyone's thoughts about including it. (Whether it's in the Marathon or not, there WILL be a Play-Per-View for this ROH show.)

We're talking about the June 23rd taping that will air on PPV in September & October, not the already-run May 12 taping that will air on PPV in July & August.I Love Chris Nowinski wrote:You do realize that they've already released the results for the ROH PPV, right?
Well, the whole point of doing ROH Play-Per-Views and including it in things such as this is to encourage more people to watch it, so that argument's pointless.Hillbilly Nick wrote:And an RoH PPV wouldn't work anyway, since almost nobody watches it.
