Elimination Chamber 2017 - 76 legit entries.
That's exactly what I just said. That was an anomaly. Look at the rest of the PPV participant numbers over the last year or two. They're all around 80-105 sans maybe what three months?

And if you're gonna compare the numbers for anything, compare the immediate three months before the September PPV since that's when the deadline changed.

Actually just to point out how insane that post is, we haven't had anywhere close to 137 since SummerSlam 2013 except for that one Backlash PPV which was again MVHs Reddit plugging...

Actually, we've only had eight total PPVs even 100 or more entries since that SummerSlam PPV. And none more than 109.

Hey, how did that noon closing time work out there genius?

Don't worry, my Beta PPV idea fixed every issue that was brought up and still closed at 7.

Keep up the great work though Mack.

Again, I didn't make the time change.

Praise for the idea tho. I really do like it a lot. We might even use it permanently in the near future. :th:

We both agreed to the time change. And I've said that already.

But anyhow, a similar idea as we used for the BETA was pitched by RoMo and others so it was a collective.

But it really still doesn't change anything because other than the no contest, every match ended like how you'd expect if that person won the match. It still doesn't solve the issue of people cheating to know who's gonna win at first. Really simple to just pick a match finish if you already knows who pretty much guaranteed to win. I still wanna play around with other variations and scoring mechanisms.

Also for what it's worth, there were like 19 entries between midnight last night and the 12pm deadline today with many or most of them during the last four hours or so. So clearly people don't have an issue with making the picks on time when they know what the deadline is. I still find it comical for ppl to claim the Vegas odds don't matter when they wait till the very last second to make picks.

It's not that much different than NFL Insiders playing Fan Duel. At least this isn't for money.

$hawn000

SmackDown Live put on a fantastic Elimination Chamber PPV, but at the same time predictable. The one huge upset being Nikki Bella vs. Natalya ending in a Double Countout. 5 players were tied for first with 200 points earned. Including Coolio, trips15, and GM BIke. But with only being off by 30 seconds, it was $hawn000 who comes in first and wins the Elimination Chamber PPV. $hawn000 continues his streak on winning early year PPV, previously winning WrestleMania last year and Fast Lane the year before that. Others in the top ten include Mackinlee, SeeDub, and OrigiGAL Punk.

Also in other news, here are the standings for our first Beta PPV testing. This will not go towards Grand Championship or included in anyone's wins.

Congrats, and thanks to everyone for playing!

I wish I had picked no contest in the real PPV. I did in the beta. I still would have lost though as that only puts me at 190ish.

It is very different tho. NFL isn't pre-determined.

There were actually people saying right before the show that they might change who won, just because everyone knew. There's never a guarantee. If there was, the same people would always win.

At least we all have knowledge of the Vegas odds. Insiders have information we don't. That was my point. Be like if Meltzer played the PPV.

It's cheating plain and simple to use the odds to make picks. How about we all use the Vegas odds next time so it can be a big circle jerk as to who of 50 people can come within a few seconds of the tiebreaker. That outta be loads of fun right?

I get what you're saying. It's frustrating when you miss just one match because if you don't have a near perfect score, you have no chance. I've lost even with a perfect score, so I know.

But you can't stop people from reading news and rumors. The odds aren't spoilers.

The odds pretty much are. I'm gonna do a deep dive on it.
