Important Announcement: Play-Per-View Rules Updated
Posted: Thu May 18, 2017 9:29 am
In an effort to promote fair play, we are hereby banning the using of Vegas Odds for Play-Per-View. There are at least four people who have admitted to using Vegas Odds before; one person voluntarily decided to stop playing, another person voluntarily decided to stop using them, and then the other people clearly have not stopped using them. So this is the warning; the next time, we will DQ these peoples' picks if they 100% match the Vegas Odds. Again, all we want is people to voluntarily stop using them and make it fair for everyone. Otherwise, the entries will be DQ'd. The individuals in question know who they are or at the very least should know. So if you are using Vegas Odds to make picks, please cease doing so immediately.
Having said that, people may ask how we know when people are using them. Well, there are certain folks who have admitted to using them whose picks month after month match 100% the Vegas Odds. Meaning, they basically have perfect cards virtually every single PPV --- with the winner being determined by the tiebreaker obviously. Now, having a perfect card does not in and of itself mean you used the Vegas Odds. Having like over 90-95% perfect cards over the last year or so? That's pretty easy to spot. We have been reviewing patterns and will continue to do so and anyone that matches the pattern we have discussed will be subject to having their entries DQ'd at our discretion. Some people wanted them DQ'd right off the bat but we are giving this one last warning.
This message will also be displayed on the PPV Reg Submission page. Thank you for your cooperation in advance.
