Yeah, I think the concept has been lost.
The original point of PPVs was to see who could straight up pick the best. My concept was you scored based on how well you did compared to everyone else.
The problem is now the power is not in picking the outcomes of the matches but picking the side stuff. And that's wrong. Truth be told, I would like to see PPVs go back to being straight up Pick-Em, with one tie-breaker and none of the extra bullshit. That stuff is better suited to Wager-wars type stuff and not a game that's created to test your common sense.
