Elix Skipper and David Young have been released from their respective TNA contracts.

Hate to hear of Skipper's firing, but I understand since they didn't have much for him to do after the breaking up XXX and Him and Daniels and then they went with the "Diamonds In The Rough" thing which didn't quite work out. I have watched Skipper ever since he started on WCW's Power Hour on Saturday morning under the name Skip Over(horrible name). Sorry to see him go, hell of an athlete.

He could join WWE and be paired up with Shelton Benjamin as a tag team. They could be called: UNDERRATED BLACK MEN

That would be the most true to life gimmick in wrestling history I believe.

To me Skipper is over-rated. He did one big spot off the top of the cage and everybody thinks he's a wrestling god.

That for me is not what I base my opinion of Skipper on. The spot @ Lockdown was phenomenal and very memorable but I just remember Skipper being talented as a whole, no where near the talent of Benjamin who I believe is as athletically gifted as far as speed and jumping ability around the ring as anyone we've seen in the last few years.

I loved Skipper when he was in WCW and apart of the REAL Team Canada with Lance Storm and Co.

Totally agree with Smurf on this one. I have been a big fan of Skipper for a long time. He has charisma, and he is an athlete. He carried around a huge scale for a bit, that was hilarious. Also, people loved XXX, and I know Daniels is great, but Skipper and Low Ki were an integral part of it. I thought that he should have gotten a singles push, but that's just me. I really hope that WWE picks him up because he is a jacked up cruiserweight who has speed and agility, a sweet moveset and charisma.

If you can find some of the TNA house shows I would watch them and see how good Skipper really is. The Diamonds had a great match on almost every one I've seen. I have no idea why they never used them. They're certainly better than the Naturals and Skipper proved in WCW that he could have a personality.

He should go to WWE and have JR as his manager. He could be the face of JR's new steak sauce.
