Jay Lethal's finisher

Match 1
"Black Machismo" Jay Lethal def Homicide

* Jay Lethal hit the elbow drop off the top rope for the win.

Jay Lethal: 3 points for a Pinfall Win + 1 point for Main Event
Homicide: 1 point for Main Event
I don't use the guy in my stable, but to be fair to those who do, Lethal uses the top rope elbow as his finisher ever since he debuted the black machismo gimmick, why didn't he get finisher points?

In order for it to count as his finisher officially it has to be seen on Television and scored at least three times, this is the second by my count. Next time he wins with that move it'll become his new Finisher.

Well he won with it twice on Impact and once on PPV, does that count?

I've only seen it on Impact once, and I didn't see Lockdown yet but I saw Biznich's scoring of it, so I'll change it now.

For the record, it just gets added as a Secondary Finisher. Just hitting it three times doesn't "overwrite" his primary finisher that quick. At least that's how I recall it. Many times we've seen wrestler's debut a new finisher, just to have it fall into the "signature" role later.

It essentially counts the same as the primary finisher if the wrestler wins the match with it. But they don't score the extra 2 points every time they hit it throughout the match that doesn't lead to a pinfall.

He hasn't used the Dragon Suplex for ages.

It should be:

Finisher: Savage Elbow
Secondary: Lethal Combination

He doesn't even use the Lethal Injection in TNA. Prior to the Savage Elbow he was finishing matches with the Lethal Combination, which is a backbreaker/reverse STO combo. Before that he used the release dragon suplex.

Well you might want to check TNA's site as they have it listed as The Lethal Injection.

They're liars!! :(

I guess they used one of his existing names for a move for one of his TNA moves.

I've never heard them call any of his moves the Lethal Injection on commentary though, so how do you know which one to score as a signature move?

They also list one of Austin Starr's finishers as the Rings of Saturn. WTF?
