*** TNA Stablewars Season 23 ***

Post by Watsuki »

It's time for Season 23 of TNA Stablewars. This season will run 13 weeks which makes it the longest season that I can remember. Last season we set a record with 60 stables. With WWE Stablewars having the most stables it's had in a while, let's see if TNA Stablewars will continue to grow as well.

Stables are due by 7 PM EST on Sunday, one hour before Victory Road.

Am I missing Elix Skipper? I assume he doesn't fall under the .30 rule since he is announced for a show before the season starts, so he should be available as a regular player.

I PM'd Suki about this yesterday. I think Suki's away this weekend though, so maybe Fuggly can add Skipper?

There was that one time where Monty Brown was left off the wrestler list making him available for a delicious 300K. Of course everyone took him so then it was sort of meaningless to have him.

Could this finally be my season? I figured Joe was winning the tag titles with Angle, and he was cheaper than Angle so I took him. I stupidly thought he and Angle were wrestling as a team, and would therefore win the titles as a team. I didn't realize Russo logic says they won the tag match as a team, but only Joe won the titles, so lucky me and unlucky 40 people with Angle. :th:

I took Daniels since I thought they'd stop dicking around and finally push him which seems to be happening, but also Senshi since if Daniels didn't win, Senshi probably would've. Then Alex Shelley thinking he and Sabin finally win and they did. And then Elix because I didn't have much left and he was in the X match, so I thought they might start using him again. Now I find out Daniels, Elix and Senshi were all part of some faction of something and they're back together. Awesome!

I also took Dustin Rhodes since I heard he might be coming in, but now I find out it's to be part of the VKM feud which probably means a lot of dumb skits and not much wrestling, but he was cheap so who cares. Also, Mike Tenay is obviously going to be Joe's partner and score a lot of points this season.

I'm tied for first right now and have a pretty good stable. Could this FINALLY be my season? Well obviously not because TNA will eventually do something to screw me over like have Chris Harris get a bazillion bonuses on the last show of the season, but at least for now I get to believe I've got a shot. Go TNA sucks!

That and it might be a little early to break out the champagne anyways seeing as it's a 13-weeks season and we just had the first show.

Yeah I know. That's why I wanted to brag now. I've been in contention several times and now matter how good my roster is, TNA finds a way to screw me over. I have little doubt that'll happen here so I just want to brag while I still can. They'll naturally strip Joe of the tag titles and give them to Angle, and then Angle beats him for the X title too, Triple X all face a kayfabe suspension and none wrestle for over a month, and then Chris Sabin gets the push out of he and Shelley. And obviously Chris Harris gets a lot of bonuses since he's not on my roster.
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Funny if Angle wins their "All titles" match at the PPV and takes all the belts.

Ya, hey Ronin, better celebrate now, seeing as how whenever you do well, I seem to always be there stealing your thunder in TNA Stablewars, AND seeing as how I have Angle, I fully expect him to win all or most of the titles come the next PPV. Is it possible that the other half of America's Most Wanted, James Storm ends up hitting an opponent's finisher to screw Ronin out of another TNA Stablewars win? Or will it be Chris Harris again??

Well Harris already hit Christian's finisher in their PPV match so if Ronin loses by 1 or 2 points to someone who had Harris on their team it'll be due to that copied finisher.

Ya I know, that's why I said possibly James Storm, or if it comes down to the wire between Ronin and I again, and I have Chris Harris on my stable, and he hits his opponent's finisher at Bound For Glory to give me the win, then Ronin will most likely hire a hitman to kill me.

I'm on your tail Ronin, and I'm very surprised but delighted to be 2nd since I have never seen a TNA show before! I only entered because I thought I might get lucky which is exactly what has happened. C'mon Angle!
