I think it definitely counts. They made a point to saying it would open Lockdown on Impact this week. I presume it will actually be on the PPV and not a pre-show match so I see no reason it wouldn't count.

I guess...but I don't see why they'd make a point to say it was the opening match if it wasn't on the PPV. I don't recall pre-PPV matches in recent memory though I could be mistaken.

I know mocking TNA is the cool or "chic" thing to do, but you guys sometimes give them no credit at all. I used to be part of the running "TNA is a joke" thing, but it's really just not true. I'm honestly proud to admit I order probably 8 or so PPVs a year...and all but 1 of them are TNA.

I was actually mostly serious there.

TNA ONLY runs PPV because they have contractual obligations to do so. I'm sure if every PPV company all got up and tore up their contracts and wanted to renegotiate them, TNA would just drop them and focus on Impact, since that's where they are getting their money (Spike and selling Impact and the rest of their stuff overseas). They don't care about PPV.

I honestly expect them to reduce the price at some point to combat WWE.

Hey, did you guys hear that?? Apparently we all only dislike TNA because it's the cool thing to do. Nevermind that it bears an extreme resemblance to WCW in its sickly and dying days, nope, we only hate it because it's en vogue right now. Give me a break.

Well in my opinion, if you like something enough you would want to talk about it all the time. If you don't like something, why would you constantly make references about it?
